Franklin Community Schools guidelines state that buildings with a COVID-19 positivity rate above 2% will be required to wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status, until the positivity rate drops below 1%.
Unfortunately, this morning, FCMS’ positivity rate exceeded the 2% threshold, therefore, masks will be required inside the school until the positivity rate drops below 1% effective Tuesday, January 11th.
Students will continue to wear masks on buses.
Once masks become optional again, parents will be notified. This data will be available on the FCS COVID-19 Dashboard and updated daily.
