Cole Zook Named Principal at Webb Elementary

Franklin Community Schools would like to announce that Cole Zook has been named the next principal at Webb Elementary. The recommendation was approved by the FCS School Board of Trustees at the March meeting.

Zook comes to Franklin after serving three years as assistant principal at North Decatur Elementary.  Prior to that, he taught for six years at East Side Elementary.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from Franklin College and a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

He has experience has the District High Ability Coordinator and School Test Coordinator at North Decatur, and is a certified School Safety Specialist. 

 “Cole will bring positive and upbeat energy to Franklin Community Schools,” Dr. David Clendening, Superintendent said. “His experiences with Title I programs, his leadership style, and his personality will be a great fit for Webb Elementary.” 

“I am excited to begin a new journey as the principal at Webb Elementary,” Cole Zook said. “I look forward to building and sustaining positive relationships within the Webb community, and continuing to build on the storied traditions that Webb has to offer.”

Zook will start his new position on July 1, 2019. He replaces Cheryl Moran’s move to CBIS.
