Enroll at FCS
The first day of school for Franklin Community Schools is Wednesday, August 2nd!
If your child is entering kindergarten through 4th grade, please check here to see what elementary school your child will attend.
If you reside outside of Franklin Community Schools boundaries, you can apply for Transfer Tuition using this process. If you would like for your child to attend a different elementary school than the boundary indicates, you will need to use this process, and also, please know you will have to provide transportation to and from school each day.
You can pick up registration packets from each school or at the Administration Building (998 Grizzly Cub Drive, 317.346.8700). Please return the registration documents to the school your child will attend.
The documents you will need in addition to the registration documents in the packet include:
- Birth certificate
- Proof of residency (recent utility bill)
- Immunization records
You can provide these documents to your child's school once you have them available. Please reach out with any questions.
For a student to be eligible for kindergarten starting on August 2nd, that child needs to be 5 by August 1st, 2023.
