Mrs. Brooke Worland

Brooke Worland is the Assistant Superintendent at Franklin Community Schools.  Worland comes to Franklin after serving as Assistant Provost and Dean of Engaged Learning at Franklin College.  She also served as Dean of Alumni and Student Engagement. Prior to her work at Franklin College, Worland was a math teacher at Franklin Community High School.  She has a bachelor’s degree from Franklin College and a master’s from Indiana University.  Worland earned a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification in 2016.  She is completing her Ed. D at Indiana University with an anticipated completion in May 2020.

Mr. Jeff Sewell

Jeff Sewell is the Director of Operations for Franklin Community Schools. Sewell comes to Franklin after serving as Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), Office of Land Quality.  Sewell serves on the executive management team and oversees approximately 100 staff members.  He is responsible for implementing continuous improvement systems and projects.  Sewell holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. He also oversees all safety initiatives for the district.

Ms. Tina Gross

Tina Gross is the Chief Financial Officer at Franklin Community Schools. Gross comes to Franklin after serving as Vice Chancellor at Ivy Tech Community College in Franklin.  She was previously the Executive Director of Finance at Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus.  Gross was responsible for daily operations for multiple Ivy Tech campuses as well as budget management and strategic plan development.  Gross holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin College and an MBA from Ashford University.

Mr. Matt Sprout

Matt Sprout is the Director of Technology at Franklin Community Schools and has always focused on technology within the educational arena. In 1995, he received his BS degree at Purdue University of Indianapolis majoring in computer technology. While determined to improve education through the use of technology, Matt makes no apologies that the successes he has experienced have come from teamwork and collaboration.  Through his servant leadership style, Matt works to empower those he supports and works to create a robust learning environment.  As a Six Sigma Green Belt, he leads district projects through a systemic process.
