Union students snapped their fingers and tapped their toes to the hip sounds of The Naptown Jazz 5 as the quintet presented "Fun with Jazz."
After spelling "vaccinate" and "visible" correctly, Naomi Mills took the trophy as the 2013 Union Elementary Spelling Bee Champion. The win makes her Union's champ for two consecutive years.
With 99% attendance, Mr. Spiker's third grade class easily took the attendance award for January. Their achievement is especially remarkable with all of the cold and flu bugs in the air. Congratulations, third graders.
